I have always loved the art of the sword, in particular the Katana Sword (or generically known as the 'Samurai Sword') What I love about Katana Swords above everything else, is the shape of the blade. It's curved by design to make it more efficient to use. (the blade will glide through its target with less friction compared to a staight edged blade.)

The Engineering of a samurai sword is a more Hi tech process than you might think. E.g. To make really hard but flexible blades, the blade is folded and hammered hundreds of times. If you can imagine corrugated steel with a hundred folds in 3mm (1/8") thick steel. Amazing ingenuity pioneered by the Japanese.

It was this enthusiasm for Samurai swords that made me want to sell them online.
